Coronavirus/COVID-19 Notice

At Art with a Heart we greatly value the time and support of our volunteers. While we can not currently accommodate our regular numbers of volunteers, we are accepting new volunteer applications and on a limited basis, scheduling small service groups.

Art with a Heart is adhering to all CDC and State guidelines with regard to COVID. This means we are managing volunteer participation very carefully and our current numbers will not allow for Heart Helpers at this time.

For those who wish to volunteer from the comfort and safety of their homes, we have opportunities available. Please contact madison@artwithaheart.net if you would like to provide remote service for us. Additionally, if you would like to donate supplies or make a financial contribution, visit our donate page.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Volunteers will work on a wide variety of visual art activities. These activities include preparing materials for Art with a Heart’s ongoing classes, working on a public art/community project, and/or helping create and finish art pieces for HeARTwares, the organization’s social enterprise retail store. Activities will vary depending on organizational need and may include: painting, ceramics, coloring, cutting, mosaic work, grouting, and/or helping finish a community/public art project.

Art with a Heart is located at 3000 Falls Road, in Mill No. 1. Look for the mirrored mosaic sign. There is a parking pad in front of the office and additional parking in an adjacent garage. If the parking pad is full you can call the office, 410-366-8886 and someone will open the garage for you.

No artistic skills are needed. Activities will be fun and accessible to everyone, regardless of prior experience or skills.

Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing. Aprons and gloves are provided for all projects that may be messy.
